These terms cover www.myeasyled.com and the free configurator on it. A paid subscription to easyLED PRO, PRO+ or an Enterprise deployment is governed by the separate agreement you accept when you subscribe, which takes precedence over this page for those services.

Using the free configurator

The configurator is free to use, for commercial purposes included, with no account and no time limit. You may use the figures it produces in your own quotations, drawings and specifications.

You may not:

Present the configurator, or a copy of it, as your own product.
Scrape, mirror or re-host the site or its calculations.
Use automated means to load the site at a rate that degrades it for other people.

If you want the configurator under your own brand, that is a real product — see white label — rather than something to build by copying this page.

What the figures mean

The configurator computes geometry, resolution, weight, power, heat and viewing distance from the cabinet data it is given. The arithmetic is deliberate and tested. The inputs are the part that needs care:

The built-in cabinets carry typical figures for a class of product, not any manufacturer’s catalogue. They are for a first pass.
Before you rig a wall, size an electrical supply or commit to a structure, enter the real cabinet from the manufacturer’s data sheet and have the result checked by the appropriate qualified engineer.
Viewing distances follow published conventions and human visual acuity. They are guidance for specifying, not a standard you can cite.

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not accept liability for loss arising from reliance on a figure produced here — which is another way of saying that the engineer who signs off the installation is still the engineer who signs off the installation.

Guides and other content

The guides are written to be useful and are kept current, but they describe general practice in a trade where products and conventions change. Where a guide and a manufacturer’s data sheet disagree, the data sheet is the one to follow.

Intellectual property

The text, drawings, layout, code and the easyLED name on this site belong to DynamicDigital. You may quote from the guides with attribution and a link. You may not reproduce them wholesale or republish them elsewhere.

Availability

We aim to keep the site up and the configurator working, and we do not promise that it will be. We may change or withdraw any part of the free service, though the intention behind the free tier — a full configurator with nothing held back — is not something we plan to walk away from.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law, and the courts of Belgium have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here affects rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by agreement.
