The deal desk

A video wall CRM for the jobs you are actually working.

A distributor’s pipeline is not a list of leads in a generic CRM. It is walls: who asked, what was drawn, what was priced, and whether the job was won. That desk is the home screen.

What you use

The features that do this job

Each one is in the product a distributor signs in to. The free configurator on this site is the sizing half, with no account and no prices.

Open, sent, won, lost

Unfiled walls and projects sit in those four groups. Marking a job won or lost is an action on the deal, and reopening puts it back with the work in progress.

The client stays attached

A quote copies the client’s name onto the document. Renaming the client later does not rewrite an offer a customer already holds.

The wall you priced is the wall you reopen

Coming back to a quote opens the same grid, the same product and the same money. The history is the job, not a PDF lost in a mailbox.

A sent offer stays sent

Once a quote has a number on it, that document is not edited in place. The next version is a new quote, so the one the customer holds still matches what you sent.

The team’s work stays in the company

Projects, clients and quotes belong to the account. When a salesperson leaves, the desk does not leave with their laptop.

Quote a wall from the desk

The empty state of a morning is the list of deals, and the next action is another wall. The configurator opens from there.

A working week

How a deal moves through it

  1. 1

    A wall gets priced

The first change on a configuration writes the quote. It waits on the desk, unfiled, until you put it on a project.

  2. 2

    You send the offer

The customer has a numbered document. The desk shows it as sent, with the client and the total.

  3. 3

    You mark the outcome

Won or lost. The job leaves the open list and stays searchable, with the quote that decided it.

  4. 4

    They call back in March

You open the deal. The wall, the price and the client are the ones you sent, and a revision starts from there.

Scope

The CRM for the LED job, on purpose a small one.

It holds clients, projects and the quotes on them, and it knows a job is won or lost. It does not replace the CRM you use for everything else the company does. The LED sale is the part a generic CRM cannot draw, price or file.

Questions

Before you decide this is the right tool

Questions

Is this a CRM for the whole company?

It is the video wall CRM: the clients you quote screens for, and the jobs those quotes belong to. Accounting, marketing lists and unrelated sales stay where you already keep them.

What is on the desk when I sign in?

The deals. Open, sent, won and lost. A new wall starts from there, and a wall you priced earlier is waiting if you have not filed it on a project yet.

Can I change a quote after I have sent it?

The sent document stays as it was sent. To change the wall you duplicate it, so the offer the customer holds still has the number and the money they were given.

Where does the configurator fit?

The LED wall configurator is how a deal starts. The desk is where it lives afterwards. Both are the same account once you are signed in.
